House nixes $700B bailout bill in stunning defeat
By JULIE HIRSCHFELD DAVIS, Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON - In a vote that shook the government, Wall Street and markets around the world, the House on Monday defeated a $700 billion emergency rescue for the nation's financial system, leaving both parties and the Bush administration struggling to pick up the pieces. The Dow Jones industrials plunged nearly 800 points, the most ever for a single day.

I got an idea! Hey everyone who's having financial trouble!!! Any good tax paying citizen! Let's all go to the Government and see if they'll draft up a $700B bail out for us good tax-paying citizens like they did these tarded companies that are cry babies and want good tax-paying citizens to pay for. It's not like they don't tax us enough....whatever taxes companies get from the government they just get passed on to the consumer right?

Fuck that!

OK, so if these companies go under then so do jobs and the economy and yada yada ya right? Well first of all, companies are sending our jobs over seas anyways right? Small businesses, if they make some "bad decision" don't the banks go after them with tooth and nail? Collections? Oh so now when they can't pay up...Uncle Sam helps them out? W-T-F Mate??!!

If they were dumb enough to loan out mortgages to people who clearly were not in the financial situation to support one, they ought to go down. Any normal business person who makes a bad mistake has to face the consequences right?

Oh you god-damn liberals don't think that all the "no" votes came from Dems and start bad mouthing Republicans...

"In the House, "no" votes came from both the Democratic and Republican sides of the aisle. More than two-thirds of Republicans and 40 percent of Democrats opposed the bill. Several Democrats in close election fights waited until the last moment, then went against the bill as it became clear the vast majority of Republicans were opposing it. Most vulnerable Republicans refused to back the bill.
In all, 65 Republicans joined 140 Democrats in voting "yes," while 133 Republicans and 95 Democrats voted "no.""

-------that's from the same article. See? None of my Dem friends believe me when I tell them that Democrats are NOT FOR THE 'WORKING CLASS PEOPLE.' They really aren't. So maybe these dem's had "it's better for the working class people" thoughts in their mind....well trust me they're NOT FOR THE WORKING CLASS PEOPLE.

So nuff said!
