just stand there and take it???

We in this country have lost our edge. We've lost our spirit as the great Americans that we are. We gripe about the gasoline price, our politicians screwing us, our food prices going up, corporations laying off jobs. What do we do...we stand there and take it. EXCUSE ME!!We invented protesting!!Isn't this what this country was founded on? Look at the French..they're looking for any reason to protest. Remember when over one million people protested because employers wanted to pass a law saying that they could fire any employee under 26 without an explanation???http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/4851626.stm And in this country laws like this is the standard practice. Can you believe it? a country where employers are afraid of the employees??? what a concept..If all of the truckers in this country go on strike tomorrow..that would get the politician's attention for sure. No milk, no food, nothing. Yet, we just stand there and let these people abuse us like we deserve it. What's wrong with us? Let's get back to a country where the government are afraid of the people. Let's unite and show the people in D.C what protesting is all about. Com'on it's Boston Tea Party all over again!!!
