I don't watch TV. But every once in a while I run into a really good TV episode online. I'm starting to become a big fan of Penn and Teller Bullshit. I like the message in this video: Reparations as a corrective action for racism is not the best way to address the issue of racism.

What Penn and Teller said about the slave trade is true.
Africans sold their own Africans to the Europeans. Because the Europeans and Africans wanted to trade, the only valuable commodity Africans had to trade, were slaves. Then some people thought of the idea of starting a slave trade, and the rest is history. It was a Business. Shit even the Romans had slaves. Many countries had slaves throughout history.
This is not targeted and intended to bash African Americans, but only to clarify the truth.
