Urinary Tract Infections in Cats
My Cat Black Kitty had struvite crystals that caused him not to be able to go to the bathroom. He had it for almost two years. He had to be hospitalized for 7 times out of those two years. I finally was able to get him to eat a cat food found only at the vet made my Purina called UR. It helped some but still sometimes he would still be blocked. Finally on the advice of a friend, I visited a holistic Veterinarian and licensed osteopath-Dr. Kimberly Parker http://drkimberly-dvm.com/index.html also the only osteopath that works on small animals in the United States (check out my link to her website) It turned out his liver was getting ready to fail (she noticed it immediately by seeing a grey speck in his right eye) and the root of the problem was a stomach ulcer that had gone unnoticed and untreated. In a month and a half, he was cured. Another month after that the vivacious and happy cat that I knew two years ago came back. It's been 4 months and he hasn't looked better. Also I should note, I put him on a strict raw diet (raw chicken and liver.) He loves it!
