This is a tribute to my favorite Supermodel, Natalia Vodianova.

I've always had a thing about the Eastern European/Russian beauty. They have this "coolness" in their beauty that just makes you freezes your eyes on them. I've the Eastern European beauty type since my sister gave me my first fashion magazine when I was still in high school. What I love about Eastern Euros is that their looks aren't that hot, glamorous and almost intimidating pretty that you see on the cover of Glamour, Cosmo, Allure and all those other magazines that think they are an authority in sex and fashion. Granted, those magazines can be fun to read from time to time, but the covers look the same, more or less.
The covers usually feature a famous woman. There are usually head shots or 3/4 shots. The female is usually showed from a front angle, with their head tilted, or looking over their shoulder slightly. Typically they are wearing something feminine, and their hair is full, well styled, and dancing through the wind (created by the large fan on the set). Go ahead, do an image search on the these magazines, and see for yourself, or pay attention to the magazines the next time you go by them. I"m not going to post because I want the attention to be on one face, and that's the Super-nova's face.

So before you get to know her, the Creative Director at Vogue said it best, "I'm a big Natalia fan, there are not too many stand-out faces..."

Here is an introduction of my favorite Supermodel:

Name: Natalia Vodianova
Birthdate: February 28, 1982
Birthplace: Nizhny Novgorod (Gorky), Russia
Height: 5 foot 9 inches (1 m 75cm)
Stats: 34-24-35 (88-62-89)
Spouse: Justin Portman (Sept. 1, 2002-present)
Offspring: Lucas Alexander (Dec 22, 2001)
Neva (nee-EH-vah) (March 24, 2006)
Viktor (Sept. 13, 2007)

She is the face of Calvin Klein since 2003, and has had the longest career with the designer. Since CK is my 2nd favorite designer, more reason for me to love her! :)

She is currently the face of Chanel's Spring 2008 make up collection, as well as the face of Calvin Klein's fragrance, Euphoria and Euphoria blossom. Every major name in the fashion business has her on speed dial.

Here's an introductory video, by Vogue of course:

Some photos:
Very fresh. Very pretty.

Natalia and her daughter, Neva. I wouldn't mind having her as my mommy.

Her famous Euphoria campaign.
She looks good with make up....

Or without makeup....sort of. She has this very innocent, girlie look about her. Her eyebrows are full, a cute nose, full lips and softer face (not too angular).

She's front and center in an American Vogue issue. And well she should be front and center. She's the hottest thing out there.

Her Gucci campaign. Even that girlie charm can be rebellious.

A family photo on the road.

She's wonderful to look at; very pleasing to the eyes. Her voice doesn't match her looks, but I guess GOD is fair by giving her the gift of beauty and equaling her out through the sound of her voice. While her voice may be have a low pitch, her command of the English language is impressive, considering she learned English in just 3 months. I guess having an English husband, helps (an British real estate heir husband, might I add).

Natalia Vodianova is great!
